deekin, hordes of the underdark

Hi, I've managed to lose deekin somehow, I was battling the dragolich, and deekin died, I couldn't get to him to resurrect him, so as I was getting mightily cross, I saved, exited the game and retried the next day. I've now finally defeated the dragolich but I can't find deekins body. Have I cocked up completely or is it a glych in the program? Is there a way of locating and resurrecting him without going to a previous save and going through the whole shebang again? I don't think my pc will survive if I have to do it again!

If I can't resurrect him, I've yet to fight the eye tyrants and the elder brain thingies, can I get by without him?

Suggestions and help appreciated! Thanks.

Try opening the console and typing the following, pressing 'Enter' after each line:

DebugMode 1
dm_runscript db_findhench
DebugMode 0

Hi mr_sir, tried the Debug etc, in console, it came up with the word success after each line but no deekin. I tried in the place where i lost him and and elsewhere, but no joy. Oh well, guess i'll have to manage without him. Thanks for your suggestion though.

Hmmm, not sure why its not working as it worked for me when I lost my henchman while playing the Darkness over Daggerford module

I have no idea what else to suggest though as I'm out of ideas. Sorry.

Thats ok, I've still got Nathyrra and Valen so i'll do ok, the only reason I needed deekin was for his spell casting and his bard song was mighty useful too! But Nathyrra is a spellcaster so its not too much of a pain to lose deekin, though I'll never get that book written about me now!

My character is a level 18 ranger and a level 6 rogue so anything that isn't to do with spells I'm good with. Thanks for your help, I think it didn't work because I'd died and had to reload the game several times before I could try and locate deekin. I'll shall be back if I need any more assistance now I've found this site and forum! Mind you, no-one will probably be here, since NWN 2 is now out!
