How do you force jump?

Post by chillpill_2u »

Hi:

I was wondering how do you force jump in KOTOR II? My guardian is like level 11 now, I've tried being at a distant from the enemy and selecting the normal attack and she doesn't force jump.

Btw, my game is on the PC.

Thanks... :)

well, I have it for xbox, but all you have to do is make sure the path towards your target is clear, and then you select the normal attack. it wont work with power or critical or flurry.

force jump is very spotty for me, sometimes it works sometimes not so much.

exar-kun points out the main problem, you need to target them before they can target you.

i think there may be a useable range as well, if you are too far away you just charge, too close and you get targeted.

Yeah, I agree with koz-ivan here. It may or may not work at times and sometimes, if you Force Jump ahead of the other team members, you will get yourself killed while the others are straggling behind. That's why I very seldom use this power, unless it is necessary.

And yes, I noticed that if you are too far away from the target, the main character will walk a few paces until he/she reaches a certain distance and then starts to Force Jump towards the enemy.

Oooohhhhhh... that makes a lot of sense. I was wondering myself why my @$%^%$# character wouldn't Force Jump. He started to do it about halfway through the game... couldn't figure out why, I knew I was doing everything correctly. Duh! *slaps self on forehead*
