Personality problem

Post by C-K'R[PhoEniX] »

OK I've just finished the picnic area quest with bees, but when I look at my personality screen, my alignment and renown are still 0. This is impossible because I got every possible evil point so far and got some renown. So what is this, a bug? And is there a patch of any kind? (I have to ask this even though I've looked everywhere and am pretty sure there isn't one  )

Hmm, not sure. I guess the alignment bar would have gone back to zero, seeing that killing the Wasp queen and her minions will net you good points, if I recall correctly. About renown, then I'm not so sure. Anyway, have you tried reloading a previous save to see if it helps solve the problem?

No problem now...for some reason the renown and alignment started counting only after quest at Orchard farm, not sure did I get those points from before that quest though.

I would say no. I think that before Orchard farm is kinda all one big tutorial, so the points accumulated do not get added to your alignment.

I remember that you do get evil/good points after completing either the raid/protect the Orchard Farm quest (and some renown as well). And yes, I do agree that the Orchard Farm quest is a tutorial in choosing good/evil paths in the game. :)

But why did I work to get those evil points in child tutorial where you need to buy a present for your sister? All that didn't count at all? Bah:devil:

The tutorial at the beginning of the game is meant to acquaint yourself to the good/bad system of Fable. The Orchard Farm quest, on the other hand, exposes you to the type of good/bad quest you will encounter in the game (Sorry that I didn't elaborate enough on this quest's purpose in my previous post :( ).
