HELP PLEASE! GOTY edition......*possibly a spoiler alert*

I know im a noob, but i have been playing morrowind since it came out. I just recently decided to go with the GOTY expansion. I was told that the game is very buggy and i have to agree after what im going through. I am at almolexias quest a show of power, i have created the ashstorms but now i am not being prompted by her to do anything else. I have went back and played old save games to this point all with the same result....... Am i doing something wrong? do i have to wait for a certain period of time for the next mission? Do i have a faulty game? what is going on here? please, any help or any similar experiences to enlighten me would help out. thanks in advance.

Relax, pal. All you need to do is sleep. If that doesn't work, do some quests for king helseth. (NOTE: DO NOT KILL KARROD IF PROMPTED) Also, use the search function for any questions you might have as well as the walkthrough available here.

well, i havent tried sleeping yet, but i have already done the quests for king helseth.......... what if i sleep and it doesnt work, sleep sleep again im guessing? thanks.....

*EDIT* tried the sleeping and talking to her again, didnt work. any other ideas as to what is going on?

Try completing some of the minor quests in Mournhold. If that doesn't work, well...you could kill some time hunting down rare items in Vvardenfell and bring them to the museum, it's not a very good museum, true, but it does pay well for most of the items. Other than that, talk around town. A new topic might pop up.

I have never done the quests you are talking about, but just as a process of elimination, assuming you are on PC, have you downloaded the most recent patch?

Your installation should go in this order:

*Morrowind
*Tribunal
*Bloodmoon
*Most recent Bloodmoon patch

If you haven't done your installation in the right order, problems can occur. Also, the patch does apparently help some of the bugs, so it's a good idea to install it.
Beyond that though, I can't help you. Maybe you should try posting your question on the official Elderscrolls Forum or contacting Bethesda directly.

If you are on XBox, disregard my suggestions about the patch (I don't know how load order works with the XBox, so can't comment there), but do try the official forums and directly contacting Bethesda, since they might be able to offer more help than we can.

i have the same game im not that far let.but i havent noticed any bugs so far.the only thing near is when i use change skill cheat the ground flys up into the air.

when my mom got the goty version for xbox she was in ebonheart and the entire place dissapered.it's funny because all the boat people were in the water and you had to find them.Ha,Ha,Ha!!

ya, that happens to me alot in balmora on my GOTY disc for x box...

umm i think this has been answered a few times in older threads, try looking through them if it doesnt work...the title will be something along the lines of "ashstorms"
