I need a new Helm ***This May eventually contain spoilers***

Post by Asher »

Ok I have been running around all over the land collecting armor and weapons off the dead morons that attack me. At this point I have almost a compleate set of deadra armor. the only thing I am missing is a Helm I am about level 27 I think and I just cant seem to find a deadra helm. I just want a good Helm that looks cool and has some good protection. I dont even mind if I have to Enchant but I want some good protection to start with.I got the Helm of Orean Bearclaw but it looks horrible in this game. If anyone can tell me where to get a good helm or at the very least a deadra helm I would be most greatful.
I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other gods you will understand why I dismiss yours.

You're at level 27 and haven't found a daedric helmet yet? That's hard to believe. I'm at level 23 and have a whole warchest of daedric armor in storage.

I think how I found my first sets a daedric armor was just exploring different caves and crypts in non-quest situations. Bandits and Mauraders usually have this type of armor at level 20 and above. Best advice i can give ya.

weapons and armor are random.
you may eventually turn up on someone with a helmet but the helmet is the rarest piece (i believe) in the daedra set.
I believe there is a cave that has a gang of bandits and someone said the captain/leader always has a helm. sorry i don't know the cave though.
Why am I fighting to live, if I'm just living to fight? Why am I trying to see, when there aint nothing in sight? Why am I trying to give, when no one gives me a try? Why am I dying to live, if I'm just living to die?

IF I recall correctly, the Bearclaw Helm is 300 defence while deadric is only 266(I've only played Morrowind) so why don't you just stick with your current helmet? Other then the fact that a deadric helm would look much better.

From the south end of the Silver Road (the road that takes you from the Red Ring Road to Bruma). Head east until you find a Inn called "Roxey Inn" I believe. Go inside and there you should see a group of armoured men and women. You should see someone with FULL DAEDRIC ARMOUR (if your level 20 and above) Kill him/her and the helm is yours, but you will get a bounty for the kill.

How to kill him/her without getting a bounty

If you do the "The Collecter" quest you will be sent to retrieve a carved panel at "The High Fane". Once you got the carved panel and you leave the ruins the group will attack you for the panel. But before you even think about doing this!!! Wait outside umbacano's manor for around 5 hrs. for the guy to talk to you or else they won't ambush you at the ayleid ruins.
