Problem with Marcus: can't commence conversation.

I am in NCR. I was told by the guards to put my weapon down, mine and cassidy's are down, butwhen I rightclick on Marcus nothing happens. I've tried different cities etc, but it seems that he's completely bugged. He is still operative in battle, but I can't make him put his weapon down or talk to him at all! Anyone have any idea what's wrong, or do I have to start the game all over?

Has your CHA dropped lately? I've heard that when you have members in your party, and your CHA drops below the minimum needed to have that party, some strange bugs happen...

But definately sounds a bug to me, what patch have you installed?

Oh, and when this problem happened? Do you have earlier saves which still allows you to talk to Marcus?
