I'm not entirely sure this is the right forum for this discussion but Elder Scrolls are the only games I've encountered soul traps and I've really only played Oblivion (just haven't had the time to devote to Morrowind - since it involves more thinking than Oblivion).
Anyway - I usually don't role play in these games, (all of my characters are called 'Dave'), but I did have an unusual prick of my conscious when it came to recharging magic items. Does anyone else have issues with using soul trap to recharge magic items?
Soul traps?
Depends on whose soul it is. Animals, yes. Evil creatures not so much. Certain evil NPCs, not at all, although sometimes even using them to recharge a weapon is too good for them. I have 8 black soul gems filled with 8 human souls in a display case in my Skingrad house (spoiler:Solitaire wrote:Does anyone else have issues with using soul trap to recharge magic items?
Spoiler
every member of the Blackwood Company I could find. Every time I walk by it I stop and mutter, "that's for Waters Edge, you bastards"!
Can the answer to this question be "No"?
Well no, not really. I don't even think about it. I usually use it on things like Xivilai etc anyway only the grand ones but when the mood takes me I soul trap anything that moves :mischief:  .
And He whispered to me in the darkness as we lay together, Tell Me where to touch you so that I can drive you insane; tell Me where to touch you to give you ultimate pleasure, tell Me where to touch you so that we will truly own each other. And I kissed Him softly and whispered back, Touch my mind.
