House and marriage questions
I've just finished Fable:TLC, but some things remain unclear:
1. After buying a house and deciding to live in it, can I sell it or rent it afterwards and how?
2. When renting a house, how do I collect the rent?
3. Can I have sex with my wife and how?
4. How can I divorce?
Thanks in advance.

Know the universe by experiencing it fully.
1. You can rent it out or sell it by using the sign out front.
2. To collect the rent, leave town for a day and when you come back there will be a bag of money outside the front door.
3. To have sex with your wife, keep flirting & making sexy poses until she's highlighted green, then talk to her and she'll ask if you want to go to bed with her.
4. Many ways to get divorced - flirt with other women in front of her, beat her, make scary faces at her, etc.

Chicken Chaser?!?!
But be warned. If you divorce, you will get a hefty amount of evil points (compared to killing your wife, which will net you only 2 digit evil points). If you are the type who want to stay strictly good, I advice you not to do it.DJA wrote: 4. Many ways to get divorced - flirt with other women in front of her, beat her, make scary faces at her, etc.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

That's strange. Have you tried reloading the game to see if that sign is still there?C-K'R[PhoEniX] wrote:The upgrade sign is there until I fully upgrade it, and then there are no signs anymore. When I decide to live in a house I am pretty sure I can't sell it or rent it. Kinda annoying...

I tried buying a house in Snowspire now and the sign stayed there . But there is definitely still no sign in front of my houses in Oakvale and Knothole Glade  . That's why I thought it's the way it's meant to be, and didn't try buying any other houses. Weird :speech: .

You might wanna try to backup your save game and reïnstal your game.. its no that a big problem lol, but when you kill a whole village and buy ll houses.. the save game gets slower loaded.. and since you will not be able to sell the houses back, you wont be able to make it a bit faster again
Playing on the PC:
The Witcher (Currently deïnstalled)
Fable TLC (Currently deïnstalled)
Oblivion + SI + all DCL

Maybe you have married in that town. If you marry someone and buy a house, your spouse will live there and you can't sell it. Once my wife divorced me because I didn't pay any attention to her
"Why can't you be nice to me, like you once were?"
The funny thing was, I had only walked into the town and saw some1 with a heart on them and was shaded in green
Another time a wife saw me kill some1. Wives don't tell the guards if they see you do it.

bingo! you can't sell a house if your wife lives there with you.
one good strategy is to buy a house, upgrade to two trophy things, break the door (your house, no fine) and put your two best trophies up. then sell the place, go through the doorless doorway and collect your trophies. re-buy the house for less than you sold it.

A poodle may not come within 15ft of a man unless accompanied by a hot woman. Ammendment: Replace "poodle" with "any dog that can be punted."

1. Go to the sign outside for the house for an option to sell if no, it gives you an option to rent.C-K'R[PhoEniX] wrote:I've just finished Fable:TLC, but some things remain unclear:

2. The next day after you rent out a house, you can go back and collect the rent from the money bags in front of it. I'd wait three ingame days so there is the maximum rent of three bags.
3. To have sex with your wife you could flirt with her, and give her presents but you could also ask her to follow you. If she does, just stand by your bed in the house and do absolutely nothing. In about thirty secs to a minute her aura with turn green. Then, press tab or w/e button you use to interact, and she will ask if you wanna do it.
4. There are a few ways to do this. You could a) kill her, b) get her to follow you and abandon her in the wilderness, c) get an NPC to kill her somehow or d) use a combo of rude emotes and beating her to make her divorce you. Use b or c if you want to avoid evil points altogether. Use a if you don't need any trouble and put up with 14 evil points. Use d if you ultimately don't give a crap about your alignment.
Hope this helps.
I mean, she was a stunner... At least I think she was. But I also thought the trees around us were running around on little chocolate legs, if you see what I mean.
