List of NPCs - please help filling in the blanks [SPOILERS]

List of NPCs - please help filling in the blanks [SPOILERS]

So, could any of you people who have gotten further into the game help me out with the list of NPCs that are available? I'm trying to plan out my party a bit in advance, also trying to figure out what class I should restart as.

Also, please do not list their names - just their class, race and alignment.

Here's the ones I know about:

Dwarven Fighter - Neutral Good
Tiefling Thief - Neutral
Human Sorceress - Neutral
Elven Druid - Neutral


So could you list rest of them that you know of?

There's also a human palidan, gnome bard, and evil ranger I've found so far.

There's also a wizard and a warlock. With up to four companions at once, I think you can play any type of character and still find an acceptable group.

You can get the full list just open the Editor, on the bottom right handside under Blueprint click on NPCs, companions and see the full list. ;)
Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.

There is a cleric in the game, yes... but to say that she is wierd, would be an understatement.

This, and the fact that there are a considerable amount of undead in the game (which is always a hassle) I think that beeing a cleric is a really, really good choice. Taking certain domains (air, fire, death, magic) would give good offensive spells as well.

Aasimar Paladin 3/Cleric X is also a nice combination.

As for the cleric in the game--yes, you've described it well. "Weird" is as good a one word definition as any, and we should leave it at that barring the appearance of a detailed walkthrough. ;)

That would cut down on one's clerical leveling though, wouldn't it? And with only 20 levels in the game, it's not as if you can easily afford to trade a few spell levels for something else. Just a thought.
Well, paladin`s divine grace, dvine health and aura of courage are handy in fighting undead (and everything else for that matter). Their good melee capabilites are useful early in the game. The warrior-"militia" background at character gen. is also suitable for someone with high will saves.

As with the "turn undead" capabilities, Paladin turn power is as a three levels weaker cleric, so the paladin will not miss anything there (but the cleric will, yes)

Yes, it would cut down the clerical levelling (cleric can still get level 9 spells at level 17 though), but I`m seeing this combination as a enchancing of paladin capabilities. At level 15 (pal3\cle12) the character would have a base attack at -4 compared to a level 15 paladin, but +3 cmparing to a level 15 cleric a and LOT of more spells (than the level 15 pal) :P

True. Interesting build. I might give it a try, especially since after cutscenes involving dialog between your party and attackers, your character is always the one closest to attackers. :rolleyes: I can't think that's too beneficial from a pure magicuser's point of view.

I didn't think she was too weird. She reminded me of a certain character from KOTOR 2. But she was completely unable to make a concentration check in my game, and that limited her usefulness.

Indeed. Also don`t forget all the weapon and armor proficiencies. There`s also another thing. Considering hardcore D&D rules i THINK that a pal\cle have no cleric weapon restrictions. But I`m not sure about that. Anyway if you want to have a clear concience just choose Helm as the patron diety (or some other diety that have a slashing weapon as favored weapon)

I don`t know with you guys, but i could never run around with two greataxes in monkey grip with a cleric of Ilmater (unarmed strike as favored weapon. The game seems to allow it, unfortunately)

You mean the old one-handed wrinkled ****? Ye.. well, she was a better "cleric" than the one in NWN2 will ever be :p

swcarter I was looking for the answer to this as well and found this on the Official forums.

"To collect the Broken Down Blade Golem you need to state
that you "Will return for it" at the time you first
encounter the thing (when the Succubi are using it as
a makeshift Gong). This will automatically transfer the
thing to the basement of the Keep.

You need Grobnar in the party to acquire the glowing ink.
It can be found in the Goblin Caves under Ember in the
same room as their glowstone. The rune is found in the
ruins of Arhvan. The Gem Mines."

I haven't gotten to the Keep yet as I am just meeting the Construct, so we shall see if it shows up in the basement, as I picked we will return for it once we get Shandra. :)
