Please drop the weeping attitude and put up a detailed statement of the problem. Have you patched the game? How much RAM does your computer have? Exactly what type of error message do you get? Have you always gotten this error when entering the temple, or is it just recent?
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Like fable asked, have you installed any mods or updates recently. Has anything changed with your installation?
Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocre minds. The latter cannot understand it when a person does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses their intelligence.

You could try reinstalling the game. I have found that that usually sorts this sort of problem out. The problems I have usually had stem from corrupted files.

I take it that you always have at least three saved games and rotate them. When this fault has happened to me, which is only two three times in the "years" I've played BG, I've just loaded an older saved game and away you go. Files get corrupted at some stage and as long as you've kept up with you're saves you won't loose too much game play.

If you haven't got more than one saved game...oh dear!!!
Live and learn, bet you will next game you play!

If you haven't got a saved file, try using the autosaved game.
