HoTU Chapter 2 Help - Golem civil war

Ok, I cannot remember the thing's name, but it's the golem made of skin from demons. He wants you to destroy the leader of the rebel golems who want to be free. How the heck do you kill him?! He's resistant to magic, and everything I use comes up "Weapon Ineffective"; short sword, long sword, staff, spear, dagger, bow and arrow, club. We battle forever, and he remains at Uninjured. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to have a weapon with a high enchantment on it. I cannot recall the exact +# necessary on your weapon, but I believe it is +4 or higher. What is the bonus on your weapons currently? You may need to spend some serious cash on your weapons at the drow forge to boost their enhancement bonus.

Did you "rescue" a certain sword in chapter one?
If so just have him upgraded a couple of times... That should help...

If still in need of tips:

If your weapon doesn't work or you don't have neat spells that work, use Golem crasher which you (hopefully) created on the earlier level (mithral statue). It has 10 uses and you need about 6 or 7 to finish that demon golem.
