Neutral Evil paladin?? *spoilers*

Post by knightprotector »

I have a question. Are these two cases examples of compuuter bugs (please, mind that I did NOT install any mods or other programs that may affect the original game):

1) After the final trials in Hell my Cavalier is Neutral Evil. What's more surprising... He retained all jhis paladin class abilities! Now I've begun my game in Throne of Bhaal and I feel strange. He is treated like an evil character by the system whilst there is no "fallen" addition to his class. Is that a bug?

2) Even without any additional equipment, the Wis and Cha scores in my character stats are of red colour all the time, just as if they were still affected by some special bonuses. Is it normal? Or it is a bug, too?

I don't know the answer to this, but you might be able to solve your problem by using the helm of opposite alignment if you have it or perhaps CLUA it in.

This is perfectly possible. You will fall only if your reputation gets too low. The test in hell just adds an affect to your character, that changes his alignment from LG to NE. The same happened to me once with a Ranger/Cleric. So well, you could now use some strange item combinations(Carsomyr and Human Flesh comes to mind :) ), while others are now unusable (no more Azuredge). Watch out for your own Holy Smites!

Concerning the colored WIS and CHA score, this is normal as well. You did choose the good path in the Wrath test in hell (you decided not to attack Sarevok), the result is an permanent increase of 1 in your WIS and CHA scores.

Thank U, Lark. That's just what I wanted to know :) BTW, this forum rocks. And its solution page, too, as it helped me a lot during my adventures in the Realms. :D

Cheers,
K.
