No. But you can still pimp out some really awesome settings.

If you want more info on how awesome the settings can be, toss me some vital stats about the power of your processor, your RAM(is it PC3200 or DDR2 or what?), also the video RAM and RAMDAC of your GPU. All that can be found either by Start->Run->dxdiag or by using Everest Ultimate.

Edit I: I'm just too lazy to do the research myself :) .

Edit II: Mostly what you won't be able to run is HDR + AA(which I don't believe Nvidia drivers support currently), and you will likely have issues with grass shadows and shadows in general(set them low, it doesn't take anything away from the game).
Finally running a decent computer!

OK; I was going to buy a GForce 7900 and 1GB RAM more but now I've changed my mind, instead I'm going to buy GForce 8800 GS.

So this will be my computer: 1GB RAM (kingston PC3200 I think, not 100% sure since it was ages since I bought it), AMD 64 3700+ and GForce 8800 GS. What settings will I be able to play on with a 8800 card?

Pretty nice, but I may be wrong(so don't quote me) but you may get some bottlenecking with that card and your processor(basically your processor won't be able to keep up).

If you want my opinion, and even if you don't I will still give it, I would say that for now, just stick with what you have, as those new NVidia cards are obscenely expensive(check here).

You can check here and see that really, you card is quite good, nowhere near the 8800, but that card is going to cost you upwards of $600 US.

In the end though, its your call, if you have the cash and are willing to, go nuts.

Edit I: Keep in mind that there are other ways you can boost performance, such as slotting in more ram(you can get a gig for about $150), as well as defragging your HDD(will optimize virtual memory usage for background processes), or by upgrading to DDR2 RAM(if your mobo will support it).
Finally running a decent computer!
