Standings after Week 7
Gwally: 59-28 -----> 68%
The Z: 64-35 ------> 65%
BS: 53-33 -------> 60%

Weasel: 9-5 ------> 64% (Inactive)

Chris Schultz, CFL/NFL Player, and The Sports Network Analyst: 45-55 -----> 45%

Week 8 Matchups
Arizona at Green Bay
Atlanta at Cincinnati
Baltimore at New Orleans
Houston at Tennessee (DIV)
Jacksonville at Philadelphia
Seattle at Kansas City
San Francisco at Chicago
Tampa Bay at N.Y. Giants
St. Louis at San Diego
Indianapolis at Denver
N.Y. Jets at Cleveland
Pittsburgh at Oakland
Dallas at Carolina

New England at Minnesota

Quick Hits
- Indy and Chicago are the only remaining undefeated teams
- Seattle will be without Shaun Alexander, Matt Hasselback, and possibly Bobby Engram as well for this week. It's the Seneca Wallace show now.
- Lavar Arrington: Injured reserve
- Falcons will lose John Abraham for a few weeks due to surgery
- Greg Jennings looks like he won't play and Ruvell Martin will likely take his place. Brett Favre really has a short staffed receiver crew wouldn't you say?
- Tony Romo taking over for Drew Bledsoe, but will it really make a difference?
- Ben Roethlisberger has his second concussion in about four months, although this time it was work related
- Patriots might be missing Richard Seymour this week

Weird Stats
- Michael Vick with four TD throws. Against the Steelers. How?
- Speaking of Pittsburgh, the Steelers threw for over 400 yards...that's right the Steelers...
- In week 7, Oakland got their sixth and seventh TD's of the season. Randy Moss has roughly half of those.
- Denver is holding teams to about 7.3 points a game, despite their lackluster offence
- Matt Bryant from 62 yards. Enough said.

Random Thoughts
- If only the 'Hawks could transform their logjam at WR into depth at RB and QB
- David Carr's for real
- It's been beaten to death, but Philly has just had some rough losses this month
- Even if Jerry Porter plays this week, he's still gone next year

Packers over Cardinals - Homefield
Bengals over Falcons - I find it hard to believe that Vick could ever repeat that performance
Saints over Ravens - NO for playoffs?
Texans over Titans - If they can beat the Eagles, they can beat the Titans
Eagles over Jaguars - No last minute heroics will happen this time I think
Chiefs over Seahawks - Arrowhead is not a great place for Wallace to make his first start
Bears over 49ers - Bears will lose sooner or later but not against SF
Giants over Buccaneers - Just because
Chargers over Rams - Homefield
Colts over Broncos - I think Peyton will finally have a good game in Denver
Jets over Browns - Cleveland has too many issues to deal with right now
Steelers over Raiders - Oakland will go back to losing now
Panthers over Cowboys - Romo won't make a difference in this one

Patriots over Vikings - NE will find a way to win

Week 8 Matchups
Atlanta at Detroit
Cincinnati at Baltimore
Dallas at Washington
Green Bay at Buffalo
Houston at N.Y. Giants
Kansas City at St. Louis
Miami at Chicago
New Orleans at Tampa Bay
Tennessee at Jacksonville
Minnesota at San Francisco
Cleveland at San Diego
Denver at Pittsburgh
Indianapolis at New England

Oakland at Seattle

Byes: Arizona, Carolina, N.Y. Jets, Philadelphia

Quick Hits
- Indy and Chicago are still the only remaining undefeated teams, but the Colts go to New England for another showdown with the Pats
- Seattle will be without Shaun Alexander again.
- Poor Curtis Martin and Priest Holmes, it's a rough way to end the season the way they did
- Chargers will be without Shawn Merriman because of his substance abuse
- David Garrard will start for the Jags in place of Byron Leftwich again
- Joe Horn and Reggie Bush could miss the Saints' game against Tampa Bay with injuries

Weird Stats
- Michael Vick has never thrown more than four touchdowns over two games but he's thrown seven in his last two...
- Which Big Ben will show up on Sunday, the one who threw five TD's in two games or the one who threw four INT's in one game?
- Willis McGahee has not had over 80 yards rushing since week three and has 6 TD's in his last 23 games
- The Raiders had 132 yards of offence and still won and their defence outscored their offence 14-6

Random Thoughts
- I honestly think Marques Colston should be the offensive rookie of the year
- Somehow the Colts always make good defences look bad
- Speaking of which, Denver found their offence against Indianapolis...but lost anyways
- Has Lamont Jordan lost his job in Oakland?
- Adam Vinateiri's back in New England, this time with the Colts

Falcons over Lions - Will Vick win by throwing again?
Ravens over Bengals - Cinncy's O has been spotty so far
Redskins over Cowboys - Homefield
Packers over Bills - Green Bay for .500!
Giants over Texans - New York's quietly getting it together
Rams over Chiefs - I think it'll be a battle of offences and I like St. Louis's big three better
Bears over Dolphins - When at home, Chicago's blown out every team they've played
Saints over Buccaneers - I think New Orleans is just better
Jaguars over Titans - Unless, Jacksonville plays like they did against Houston
Vikings over 49ers - San Francisco is no New England
Chargers over Browns - Even without a few key defensive players, San Diego should win
Broncos over Steelers - I think this is the end of the line for Pittsburgh
Patriots over Colts - Everyone's gotta lose sometime

Raiders over Seahawks - Gamble of the week
"It's not whether you get knocked down, it's if you get back up."

Standings after Week 9

Week 10 Matchups
Baltimore at Tennessee
Buffalo at Indianapolis
Cleveland at Atlanta
Green Bay at Minnesota
Houston at Jacksonville
Kansas City at Miami
N.Y. Jets at New England
San Diego at Cincinnati
San Francisco at Detroit
Washington at Philadelphia
Denver at Oakland
Dallas at Arizona
New Orleans at Pittsburgh
St. Louis at Seattle
Chicago at N.Y. Giants

Tampa Bay at Carolina

Quick Hits
- Indy, still undefeated, but Chicago got shocked my Miami as everyone knows
- Seattle will be without Shaun Alexander. Hasselback and Engram are also out
- Amani Toomer's done for the season, but Eli still has Plaxico
- Terry Glenn left practice early and might not play this week leaving Patrick Crayton as Dallas's 2nd WR
- Marcus Robinson and Napoleon Harris are out for the Vikings this week
- Bill Walsh, 49ers great coach in the 80's is battling leukemia...would like to send my best wishes

Weird Stats ---> AFC West focus
- Oakland has averaged 296 total offensive yards against (9th in the NFL) and are 4th in the AFC West
- They also gave up nine sacks against Seattle
- Denver has averaged 163.9 ypg passing and are 1st in the AFC West
- More Oakland inefficiency: Only six offensive touchdowns so far this season
- Every team has sold out in advance for the 10th straight week, continuing pushing that record further
- Larry Johnson has 39 rushing touchdowns in 40 games, of which only twenty he has started

Random Thoughts
- Michael Vick came back to earth albeit only for one game so far
- The Steelers are done IMO. When was the last time the champions went down early the next season?
- Was Minnesota versus San Francisco a snooze or what? Twelve total points and no TD's for either team
- To answer last weeks question, no Lamont Jordan has not lost his job

Week 11 Matchups
Atlanta at Baltimore
Buffalo at Houston
Chicago at N.Y. Jets
Cincinnati at New Orleans
Minnesota at Miami
New England at Green Bay
Oakland at Kansas City
Pittsburgh at Cleveland
St. Louis at Carolina
Tennessee at Philadelphia
Washington at Tampa Bay
Detroit at Arizona
Seattle at San Francisco
Indianapolis at Dallas
San Diego at Denver

N.Y. Giants at Jacksonville

Quick Hits
- Indy, barely still undefeated, but Buffalo gave them the W
- Shaun Alexander will likely be back while Hasselback and Engram won't for the Seahawks.
- Frank Gore will likely play against Seattle, despite sustaining a concussion last week.
- Clinton Portis's season will be done after surgery is performed on his torn labrum
- Willis McGahee is out indefinitely with three broken ribs
- Tony Richardson, Vikings FB, could be out for the season, leaving Chester Taylor without his lead blocker

Weird Stats
- LT has 10 total TD's his last three games. Larry Johnson has twelve for the year. Oakland as a team (including defensive TD's) has 10 total TD's the entire year.
- After throwing just 20 INT's in his first two seasons as a starter, Ben Roethlisberger looks poised to throw more than 20 in this season alone
- Marty Schottenheimer's team lead's the league in points per game
- Terrell Owens has found paydirt (either TD or 2-pt conversion) in every game that Tony Romo has played QB - Vinnie Iyer - SportingNews
- The Dolphins (No. 2) and Raiders (No. 7) are both ranked in the top 10 in the NFL in overall defense but have combined for only five wins - Vinnie Iyer - SportingNews

Random Thoughts
- Poor Matt Leinart...after USC, now he's 0-5
- Finally Philly won a close one after losing three close ones in a row
- The Pats lost two in a row, but they'll still win the division IMO
- Aaron Brooks looks to get a second chance with the Raiders this week with his shoulder feeling better. Will it make a difference against another returning QB, Trent Green?
- I think Garrard just proved that Leftwich's job is pretty safe

- Simeon Rice is out for the season
- Donovan McNabb is out for the season
- Aaron Rodgers came in for an injured Brett Favre and now is on IR
- Donovan Darius is out for the season
- Culpepper's still out, but Harrington is playing better than he was so who knows what'll happen

Weird Stats
- LT has 14 total TD's his last four games and needs nine to tie Shaun Alexander's record
- Shaun Alexander hasn't had a 100 yard rushing game this season and is averaging 2.7 yards a carry
- Eli Manning's QB ratings the last 6 games: 68, 80, 76, 76, 21, 58
- And speaking of the quarterback who took Eli's spot on the Chargers...Phillip Rivers has a 99.7 rating and

Random Thoughts
- Matt Leinart finally got his first win in the NFL after the longest losing streak of his career
- I think Philly won't make it in with Garcia running the O
- Terrell Owens no longer has found paydirt in every game Romo's played, but Dallas has a shot at winning the division
- What will happen to Huard now that Trent Green's back?
- What is it with NFL players and getting arrested? Antonio Bryant...DUI..(d'oh)
