Enchanted Weapon spell

Post by probe53 »

I dont understand what this spell does..

if i cast it, i see no weapon either in my inventory OR in my hands

....it also randomly seems to increase or decrease my caster level.

When you cast the spell, it gives you four options to choose from.

A Longsword +3, a Shortsword +3, a Mace +3 or an Axe +3.

You click on the one you want and it appears in your inventory. Only classes that can use the weapons will be able to use them. So a solid mage can't use any. You can however give them to other party members.

The caster level increase and decrease is because you are a Wild Mage.

This happens every time you cast a spell.

Well, actually, that happens too. Just not that frequently.

Well, it should either last until you rest or until you get the same wild surge again.

While Wild Mages are among the most powerful classes in the game (the most powerful through certain bugs) their disadvantage is the random effects. Some can be beneficial and other harmful.

Use the Chaos Shield spells to protect yourself. Also, be careful where you cast your spells.

I doubt it. I can think of one other person aside from myself that knows it, so, it's not a very well known bug.

The bug lets you cast spells without limit and casting delay.

Combined with another bug, it can let you cast spells instantly.

does it happen often? do you have to do something intentionally to cause it or it just happens sometimes?

if its not pernament, you can just think of it as a wild surge effect.

to be honest, it sounds like you get Irenicus's ability...

he cast dam fast in the movies and he seems to never run out lol..

And obviously you are not going to tell it...?

In fact, would be quite interested in hearing that bug...

I accually rather not know (dont post/tell it here in this topic, Private Message to others).

If it wont happen if i play regularly, then i wont worry about it.
otherwise i would expect someone to find the bug by now and made some fix for it (since it should be obvious if it happens by chance in game like wild surges)

If it WAS something that sometimes happens like wild surge effects, but gone wrong---hence the bug part, then i was only hoping that it was not pernament and rest or time will wear it off.

i dont want to blast through the game with a bug that makes me UBER-IRENICUS all the time ahahah..

Of course I'm not going to tell.

I'd gladly demonstrate it in a multiplayer game in hopes that you figure it out, but I'd never tell.

Although it may seem godly (and it is) it's still pretty difficult to start from scratch... and be level 7.
