Offering to Velorien

I've got another question...

I reached Velorien's Altar in Vendigroth, after completing in the right order all other offerings. (Currently I have all the three circles blessings active on me). When I step on Velorien's Altar, I die all the same... usually I both die and get the blessing. Is it due to my high tech aptitude or am I missing something else?

As you said, Veloren's blessing kills you and then revives you with a Ressurect spell. But, if you have a high technological aptitude, it kills you and then the spell deflects. My only call was to use the savegame editor to temporary change my aptitude to 100 magickal for the blessing. I don't know if there is an ingame way to avoid the spell being reflected, but I hope someone will come up with such a solution.

There's a found schematic Reanimator that tech characters can use to resurrect other tech people.

I just did this part yesterday night and, despite having 83% tech, I noticed nothing wrong since the spell worked first time... Maybe you're over 83%?

i had it happen too, but i just reloaded and did it a bunch of times until it worked (same thing with ressing virgil!). its definitely worth it if you want the mega bonuses, which make the rest of the game pretty easy.

Well, I was kinda disappointed since my character didn't need the bonuses given by the big blessing...

In other words, no big jump of "making the game easier" after the blessing.
