i know in the last morrowind, you could kill someone and takke over there house,. i havent tried it yet just cause i have my own homes, but does anyone know if your things still stay were you put them in othe rhomes. just owndering, thansk

Searching on homes will tell you this, but the answer is, if you own the home, yes.

not quite the answer i was lookin for

i meant that, say i like a random town perosns house, not the house available to buy, if i kill the homeowner, can i make the house myown?

No. If you take somebody else's house, chances are you will be eventually seen by somone, who will alert the guards, and you'll be arrested. If you leave anything around, it will be treated as though it were on public property.
