i would just like to underline that you have written that neeshka will betray you no matter what in the end... that is not correct. i have completed the game twice, and both times she has stayed. just wanted to underline that.
Thanks for the information.
That's interesting. When I played through the campaign, the other characters who consider leaving all show an influence check, and they stay or leave based on that (except for AJ, who I think stays regardless). But Neeshka left without showing an influence check, so I thought that was fixed. Did she still get tortured and so forth? Maybe it has to do with the gender of your character. I was playing a female character when she left.

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

That is odd, I had heard it was based on Influence check, also.
swcarter do you still have your save?
If so you can use, rs kr_influence which will show your Influence with each NPC and allow you to change it.
So you could boost her to 100 and see if she still leaves, which would almost prove its gender based.

Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.
It turns out the dialogue is just sloppy. If you have enough influence with Neeshka then she stays with you and you see [Influence: Success] in her response, but if you don't, then you only see her say that she has to stay with Garius. They don't show an [Influence: Failure] notice.
But at least that's cleared up now. Thanks for the help.

I was just wondering on the companion list shouldn't Sand and Shandra be listed in seond chapter?
Iir, you don't get them in your party till start of chapter 2 or maybe I just need sleep.

It's possible. I put together the navigation bar from memory. I'll update it along with the character pages when I get to them in the walkthrough.
