Hi all, i have this problem, In a previous profile of mine the item merchant in knothole glade wouldnt appear in his shop. i never killed him and the building is not being rented. So i deleted that profile and started another and everything was great in it. Now i started a third one to play again but now the armoury dealer in knothole glade is not appearing when he is supposed to. Again i did not kill him and the building is not being rented.
Is their a way to fix this without deleting the profile? also, i need him to buy the bright plate trousers since its the last piece for that suit that i need. Also, i bought the rest from the arena.
Thankyou all.
By the way, i have Fable TLC on xbox

there is no way to fix, this has happened 2 me on several occasions, normally with the shop at top of knothole glade or the tattooist the only way to fix is reload a game before you ever entered knothole glade (white balverine quest) and then dont open chest, do side missions ect... intill this quest is finieshed, if this doesnt help just ignore it...
you can buy the rest of armour from wandering traders ( ithink in darkwood or greatwood, im not sure)
Also, do not go to Knothole Glade before the White Balverine Quest. I ever encountered strange bugs as a result of doing so.

Its a chronoligic problem... Whenever you enter the tatooist or the armor merchant should B there... Even before entering Knotholeglade without doing the White belverine Q i had the tattooist missing..... When i finished the bargate prison Q the tattooist suddenly spawned and lived happely ever after... Sooner or later the missing NPC will spawn... But is Mentioned earlyer its best not to go there..
with the white balvarine quest, when you first get to knothole glade the gates are glosed and theres a couple of people trying to get inside, this in cludes the armoury dealer and tatooist if the balvarines attaking kills 1 of them they never come back, so be careful with this quest.

I'm not really sure if the above reason is what caused the missing tattooist or the armour dealer because I ever encountered this bug twice before and even though I did manage to save all the people stranded outside of Knothole Glade, the tattooist did not appear at all. Had to redo the quest (without digging any silver keys) then the tattooist appeared.
P.S. Welcome to the forums, JazzaPugh.

i even found that the armoury dealer, merchant or tattoist can also disappear if i use items such as potions and if i pick up items after killing the normal black balverines. wierd huh...

Hmm, didn't know about this. I will keep this in mind. The last time I played, I always avoided doing anything like digging silver keys or opening chests to avoid this bug. And yes, I agree. This is a very weird bug indeed....

i had the same problem. one of the assassins hired to kill you killed him.
and the bright plate trousers can be bought from a wandering trader in darkwood or witchwood
there was another thread that came up with a solution to the disappearing merchant problem, which may or may not help. sleep for two full days and then go back. they should respawn. if not, the game just hates you.LoL
