Saving throws and awareness

Yeu, i have 2 questions

1) Who spots mines and sith asassins? The exile, or the one in the party with the highest awareness? In other words, is it useful to raise the NPCs awareness skills?

2) Which saving throws apply to which conditions?

Fortitude to poison and damage right?
Will to mind affecting
and reflex to? grenades?

The leader of the party (whoever you move around) does the mine & assasin checks.

Not sure on part 2

Spot Check!!!

I believe the game does the spot check automatically each round. Awareness adds the modifier to the roll of that round. Fortitude, Will and Reflex saves are checked when something effects the character. Fortitude saves would effect your vitality and resistance to poisons. Will saves would effect your resistance to mind control and domination and anything else effecting your mind. Reflex saves would effect your defense and ranged attack modifiers.
