Stilgar is right. Although Bioware is backing the Xbox360, Dragon Age will be a full PC RPG. Link: http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/05/26 ... bj=6126603
That said, the pair shot down rumors that one of BioWare's two 360 titles was Dragon Age, its all-original fantasy role-playing game. "With Dragon Age--the first iteration of it, anyway--we're focusing on making it the most ambitious PC RPG we've ever done at BioWare," said Muzyka. However, just because it's not a current 360 project doesn't mean it won't be so in the future. "It's a franchise we own, so there will be other versions that will be on other platforms," Muzyka said, hinting a 360 version could be down the road.

I have to agree with Stilgar here. It is easier to port a console game over to the PC rather than the other way round due to the fact that the console do not have that many buttons compared to the PC.
Really? The interface for the KOTOR series were fairly adequate, not to mention that the controls were properly designed for the PC (same can be said of Fable: The Lost Chapters as well). In fact, Bioware designed KOTOR exclusively for the XBox first before deciding to port it to the PC. In a way, it does feel like you're playing a console port rather than a PC game no matter how good/bad the port job is due to the console nature of the game.Tenser wrote:If it becomes a console project I'll be very enraged ! KotoR and Morrowind/Oblivion have proved that console/PC games get bad interfaces on the PC, just because they also have to support the console.

You can't it hasn't been released yet.sexydevil wrote:i haven't tried this game yet.
Personally I hope it stays pc only or at the very least only afterward there comes a console port. The games which have been made for both at the same time haven't felt like pc games for me. When I played them they just didn't have the feel like the great crpg's like bg had.
BioWare claims this game will be the spiritual successor to BG I truely hope so.

If this game comes out as an XBOX360 exclusive I will kill BioWare. KOTOR, though great, feels seriously dumbed down compared to BG, so I hope the game is just Dungeon Siege + Baldurs Gate 2 + Neverwinter Nights and I would be happy.
If its on console youd have to cut loads out unless its for PS3 and with blu-ray.

At the moment it's still pc exclusive. If Bioware changes this they should be killed. They can port it afterwards but it must be pc first. Also provided they give us pc gamers mass effect than the console gamers can have DA as well.Elessar-NWN wrote:If this game comes out as an XBOX360 exclusive I will kill BioWare. What do you expect when Bioware created a certain game specifically for the XBox crowd? If they want to make an XBox exclusive title, then do it. If they want to make a PC exclusive title, go ahead.stefan wrote:At the moment it's still pc exclusive. If Bioware changes this they should be killed. I expect them to remember the platform which made them great, I expect them to respect the pc gamers. We haven't had a pc game in ages from them and we haven't had virtually any info concerning DA.DesR85 wrote:What do you expect when Bioware created a certain game specifically for the XBox crowd? I'm sure Bioware won't abandon the PC platform. That's where their success came from. It's just that if they wanted to diversify into other platforms, it's their right to do so.stefan wrote:I expect them to remember the platform which made them great, I expect them to respect the pc gamers. Never said it wasn't their right just said it would be unfair to give the xbox 360 DA if the PC doesn't get a mass effect port.DesR85 wrote:I'm sure Bioware won't abandon the PC platform.
