Technical help, morrowind not working

Post by 2D2 »

Hello, i have morrowind and tribunal for the pc, i was playing so i decided to download some mods. it was fine for a while but now whenever i try to load morrowind it says:

Error
font 0 not found in .morrowind.ini.current path:c:\program files\ bethesda softworks\ morrowind.

so i try to uninstall and it says, uninstall program not found.
i have also taken off the mods i was using, but all this happened a while ago so i can't remember what mods i was using.
Thanks

If you are trying to uninstall Morrowind and it's telling you that it can't find the uninstall program then you will probably have to uninstall the game manually. In that case, what you need to do first is:

Be very careful with the following instructions since it requires editing the registry!

Go to start- run- type REGEDIT - go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE- go to SOFTWARE- and from there look for Bethesda Softworks folder. Delete this folder by right clicking on it and selecting delete. This should clear everything from your system and you should be able to do a fresh install.

Do not mess with anything else, as fooling around the registry can cause your system to seriously go into convulsions. ;)
