Bonegnasher/Eyegouger. Poss spoiler for newbies

Bonegnasher/Eyegouger. SPOILERS.

Question first:

I've checked on Search but can find nothing about Wynn, who is writhing on the ground close to the real Emissary.
Talk got nothing, Examine got that his humanity had gone and he was just a weapon for the Shadow Priest. Ok.

There was no option that I could find to kill him, and he was healthy so no healing needed. But it was horrible to just walk away and leave him there. Is there ANY way you can do anything for him? Or are you stuck with leaving him there writhing and twitching?

Comment: The False Emissary in Bonegnasher is VERY useful if you are careful to not threaten him, but insist on him accompanying you. He comes along quite happily and is VERY useful in Eyegouger. In fact, with him, Grobnar and Casavir (to say nothing of Khelgar and my own char, who is a Rogue), the team is seriously overpowered. Of course you have to kill him at the end of Eyegouger's cave, but since he is quite delicate, it's not difficult - especially if you didn't stop to heal and refuel spells after the last fight. Buit I'm gonna miss all that firepower.

Finding Wynn should trigger a cut-scene and a subsequent fight with a Shadow Priest. (spoiler -> )

I don't know if it has anything to do with who is in your party, though; I brought Qara with me for that trip and she knows Wynn. The Shadow Priest you encounter offers Qara a chance at eternal life and limitless power.

Wynn is supposed to disappear after the shadow priest shows up. He's just there as bait.

Yes, I got the cut-scene and the fight, Ningengirai. And, not having Qara I didn't get that option! :laugh:

@ swcarter: the body just stayed there on the ground, twitching, after everything was done and dusted. I guess it was just one of those minor errors that happen from time to time. I wish he HAD disappeared, though. I felt like a heel just leaving him there...

Meh. I couldn't change the thread header, only add a sub-header. Never before been on a board where the original poster couldn't change the thread title. I don't like it.
