Is there any way to become the top of the Blades?

You can be the highest ranking Blade in Morrowind, though. Just go along with the main quest.

ya but, when you get to the highest rank in other guilds there are no more requirements shown to get to the next rank, where as in the Blades, it still says the requirements needed but theres no one to rank you up

well....

i never tried to get any higher.... i just got to the rank that Caius Cossad gives you when he leaves for whereever he was going but i am not sure you can go any higher.... when he leaves you become operative....

so i think that is the last levle up in the blades....

i was thinking...since you get the quest to go see caius in seyda neen, what if they give you promotions there as well once caius is gone? just a thought...
