Has anyone encountered corrupted save files?... especially those created with F12? Or have you heard anything from the game makers concerning a utility to fix these?
I seem to get them quite often, and it is frustrating because I save quite often. Plenty of disk space, and I speed disk 3-5 times a week. This wasn't a problem pre 1.03 patch. Any insights out there?

I have had corrupted save files, but only two or three times. All F12 saves, yes. I think I had 1 corrupt Autosave, no more.
But I just go back to a previous 'proper' save and re-do the bits I lost. I make a point of doing a 'proper' save quite regularly - and ALWAYS before entering WorldMap, or a new building/cave/whatever - so I never have too much to re-do.
Playing Morrowind and Oblivion taught me to make frequent saves, LOL!
I don't think patching/updating the game helps much, either - I see more complaints about AFTER patch/update than I have seen about pre-update/patch. I don't have the updates/patches, and have very few problems - and so far, nothing major.

I haven't had a problem yet, but so far I haven't progressed all the way through chapter 1. It could be that I don't really use the quicksave function and just do the regular saves.
