First I'd like to convey a big thank you to the team that put together the NWN2 information. It is a great resource that I'm very glad to have available. I've yet to play NWN2 (hoping to pick it up for Christmas), but I've been pouring over any information I can get my hands on as I plan out my first characters for single player and PW play. Needless to say I hit the jackpot when I checked back at GameBanshee this week.
I've been copying down the feat information and saving it locally, then linking it up to an excel spreadsheet I've set up. There are a few feats I've not been able to find in your database. They may have been cut from the game, merged with another feat, called by another name, or may have been missed by the team.
They are as follows:
Called Shot
Practiced Spellcaster
Rapid Reload
Swift and Silent
Thanks for your help with this, and thanks again for your efforts to put together a very comprehensive site for NWN fans.
Feats Missing?
Hmm, ok, a rundown:
Called Shot: Called shots haven't been in DnD rules since 2nd edition, unless I am overlooking something from the vast amount of books I happen to own. I haven't seen it as an option in NWN 2, and I am assuming it was one of the things removed due to the developers working hand in hand with a crew of DnD developers at WoTC.
Practiced Spellcaster: It's in the game, but hasn't been activated. In fact, there are some prestige classes that are set up in the game info, but haven't been activated yet for some reason. I am assuming they are planning an expansion, put those in there during creation, and they will be activated when you install the expansion.
Rapid Reload: It says it's in the game in the manual, but it also says Practiced Spellcaster, Augment Healing, and Augment Summoning are in the game. All three of the above cannot be chosen at this point in the game. I haven't bothered to play a character that focuses on a crossbow so haven't honestly looked for this feat. Someone else may be able to help you with it.
Swift and Silent: I have absolutely no idea where this feat has come from. I have never heard of it. There is feat called "Stealthy" that is probably the closest thing to that however.

"Oh, so I can crate you and hide you in the warehouse at the end of Raiders?"
"So funny, kiss me funny boy!" / *Sprays mace* " I know, I know, bad for the ozone"

Thanks for the quick answer Magrus. I got a list of the NWN2 feats from nwv...er a different site. I was unsure which site had it right, but as you've explained these feats are not in-game.
Oh, according to the other site, Swift and Silent was supposed to allow you to move at 75% instead of 50% when in stealth mode.
Thanks again!

The feats database took me weeks to put together simply because there are so many feats (including epic ones) that aren't actually in the game. I ended up leveling every class and race to 20 taking a different feat progression each time. I also cross-checked everything I could from within the campaign and used the console command to verify any feats listed in the 2DA file that I hadn't put in the database yet. Therefore, most (if not all) of the feats in the database should be valid, while any feats missing probably can't be acquired through normal means.
I can't guarantee that our database is 100% accurate, but unless someone else has put 100 hours into sorting through every single feat, I doubt their list is as accurate as ours .

I'm sincerely grateful for your efforts, and I'd also like to mention that I do indeed default to the information on your site if there is a discrepancy. I only bothered to ask you about the feats because I knew that, unlike other sites, you would want to know if there was indeed a problem. Thanks again for your hard work, I'm heading back to my spreadsheet

Neeshka can take Rapid Reload
I was leveling Neeshka up to level 13 and in her list of feats is 'Rapid Reload' but it can only be used with a crossbow and she is using a shortbow. I have to level up Khelgar and he is using a crossbow.
I would think that he should also get that feat! Time will tell after a couple hours of sleep.

Practiced Spellcaster in as of 1.04
The 1.04 release notes say the following:
"The Practiced Spellcaster and Improved Rapid Shot feats are now available for characters that meet the prerequisites."
I am playing through right now as Sorc6/Rog3 about to become an Arcane Trickster and I love the practiced spellcaster feet. I still don't have any spells past level 3, but my fireball and magic missiles do a lot of damage as I am casting them as if I am 9th level.
Note: I haven't verified if the improved rapid shot is in there or not.

Well, that's good. Notice any new bugs with 1.04 yet?Screaming Johny wrote:The 1.04 release notes say the following:
