Dxun Sith masters/Atton as a Jedi (Spoilers)

Post by u6795 »

Spoilers, Forgot to put it in the title, sorry.

Well, it seems I've totally screwed myself over.

I'm on Dxun, in the Sith temple. I'm 20 meters away from the Sith masters performing the ritual. I've fought my way through countless deaths and incapacitations. But only then, ONLY then, do I realize I've made tons of fatal errors.

I haven't acquired Hanharr as a party member, nor Mira.
I haven't trained Atton as a Jedi sentinel at ALL... which I wished to do but didn't have the apparently needed influence points to do it, so it ended in an argument.

Now, with my latest save right before the battle with the sith masters (in which I have lost 7-8 times already), I have no idea what to do. I have no jedi in the party (I'm such an idiot). The expedition is lead by Atton, with Mandalore and the Handmaiden. Strongest characters I had, around level 17 but now about 19.

Now to the point. At my latest save, no I have not begun the fight with the sith. Yes I have defeated every single person in the temple and the outside area. But I can't leave. I can't "Abandon the mission". I severely need medical supplies or something. I've tried thinking of any possible ways to solve it.... but no. I'm considering resorting to my last save, but that would set me back enormously. I'm not sure if it was before I had gone through Korriban (Which I EXTREMELY do not wish to repeat).

ANY ideas for defeating the Sith masters then? I've got each character equipped with strong Melee weapons and blasters (no lightsabers :( ) and have been using the Melee weapons to fight the sith... and not once have I even half defeated one.

 Help please.... I'd rather not resort to the older save but if I have to I will

Welcome to the fourms.

Hmm, do your characters have sheilds equpied on them? Also give yourself a butt load of stimms and junk. And if you can try and go back and fix the broken mediacal droid you found in one of the rooms, then he will follow you around and constinatly heal you.
Add l Skinflute l (Lower case L's) if you think you can beat me 1v1 snipers in Halo 2.

Actually, yes, I have plenty of shields lol. Forgot to mention that. Mandalorian power shields and a melee shield-- I couldn't figure out if an energy shield or a melee shield would be more effective against light sabers although now I'm guessing energy. My guys must feel like sponges from all the stims i was using. Also, lol. I just remembered about that medical droid, I had left it back there, because I had it the first time but died and then fought my way back without it and saved without it. I'll go back and get it and overwrite the save.

I have a new tactic ill try to use-- run all at once with blasters, and plant mines behind me... get as far the crap away as I can and mow them down. Dunno how that will work out though.

Hmm a tough spot, but i got a idea i forgot wich nade it is exactly but its the 1 that freezes ur opponents feet so they cant move, then when ther stuck get ur blasters out and go to the other side of that little pond thing, and if ur lucky they might be too dumb to run around and get you (Happens somtimes) then shoot and throw nades at them and plant mines around u hope it helps

I think I ever come across a similar thread like this before a while back. I did a search and found this. Hope you find the suggestions there useful. I also did find some other related threads when I typed, "Dxun Sith tomb" in the search function.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

I think there's a lab station in the temple, isn't there, in the room where you meet the medical droid. You could use that to make the medical supplies you mention needing.

Incidentally, a good way to make this area easier in future games is to enter it with your lead character (the one you told Kreia would lead the party) with a few levels-worth of XP in hand, then level up inside. This means you are a higher level than your enemies. Normally I wouldn't do this, as it wastes XP, but you can't get any XP while your PC is't in the party anyway.

you can also change difficulty of the game in options... i had similar problem once and i did so - those masters are really easy to defeat then.

If you have any granades use them... try to get the Master down to low health then finish him with a blaster... Also try to repair that droid and use your shields.
