Brimgulden's Horn question

Post by guamkid »

While browsing in the equipment database, I came across a trinket called Brimgulden's Horn. I have not run across this in the game yet (I think), and if I have, I dont remember it. Who is Brimgulden. Does anyone know where this is found or what encounter it is relateds to? It has a nice speed bonus on it.

Thanks in advance.

You find the horn in the tombs beside the Circene temple in Fargrove. Someone in Fargrove will tell you to take it to Emmindor in Arindale.

well, the horn you get in the catacombs is gladryn's not brimguldens. the way you get to galdryn's horn. is talk to the dude in the celestrial church, you should get a key to the catacombs, go in there and go to the bottom, then keep going, watch for the trap that falls out, you will soon reach a head on a wall that will ask you to speak the password that he must hear, so what you do is take the tunnel straight across from him, you will then see a ladder, go down the latter and kill everything down there including a big mean headless dude and one of those minitour dog looking things, after you kill the dog thing you should see a word float in the air, go back to the head on the wall and talk to him and tell him the password. the gates will lift and you can grab the horn, getting the horn is the first part in a long quest to conquer the game

the other horn i think is a guild quest im not sure.

The horn in the catacombs is Galdryn's Horn. Brimgulden's Horn is an object you find during the hunter class quest.

Only if your playing the collectors edition, if your playing DL up to 1.4 then you get told you can keep the horn, but it isn't actually in the 'Beta' version.

I've played the game so many times that I get confused at times. The others are correct.

Anyhow, the horn in question is in the far north of the Northern Steppes where you must kill a beast to get the beast's "horn"

The Brimgulden is the giant borloth type creature one has to kill to attain the Hunter class. As mentioned, it will not be available unless you are playing the Collector's edition, but yes, it is a nice trinket. I had an Adept/Rogue Monk/Hunter Shaolei master and found there was several good stacking bonuses for archery, athletics and pole weapon skills. That was a fun character. :)
