speaking to other players in multiplayer?

How can I speak to other players in multiplayer? I can't seem to get anything. Page 44 of the manual seems to imply I should just be able to type it? Thanks.

If NWN2 works like most other games, then you should be able to press enter, type what you want to say, and then press enter again.
