No reloads game, got round to it at last

Post by wise grimwald »

Whilst others are streets ahead of me as far as timing is concerned, i thought that I would give it a go with a halfling fighter thief, going more or less solo through TOSC. I don't have Tutu so I missed out a lot by hitting the experience cap before even entering the Iron Throne building. It was definitely fun however. I still have to do the SoA and ToB and will probably not go solo for thoose games as i haven't finished them once, never mind, no reloads. I was going to add an attachment giving more details but don't seem to be able to do so.

Stealth certainly does have great advantages. The only major problems I had were once when i was trying to sleep in the mines. I was poisoned. Had to shut door on the enemy. Tried to slow poison. Didn't work. Just had to keep using potions of healing as I rather foolishly didn't have enough cure poison potions. The other difficult one was in the Ducal Palace. Wand of sleep was the only magic available to me and I managed to work it so that only half of the doppelgangers went to sleep. That way they were not so overwhelming. Lila was still killed however despite me healing her twice. Not having a mage in that situation certainly made life more difficult. Would you believe it. I hit the experience cap before entering the Iron Throne?

It is a game where you carry on even when things go wrong, rather than reloading one of your saved games. If you die, you die.
