What version of the game are you using?Areth wrote:hey again i am level 9 and i still cant use divine intevension i cant use restorarion or the blessed spirt one ether wats going on????
You have to have level 10 in Celestial Magic for Divine intervention to work, level 8 in Celestial Magic for Blessed Spirit. I've never come across Restoration in v1.4, it was left out because it was broken. The only way it would appear in 1.4 is if you use the editor, which would be a waste of time of course.
NB It's your level in the specific 'school' that's relevant, not your general level, which is pretty irrelevant to anything.

Not in V1.4, no prerequisites in that version.P0IS0N wrote:Divine Intervention only works if you have the Angelic Destroyer equipped. You'll find it after killing Voraatus in the tomb of souls. When the watcher asks what reward you want, go for demon's steel.

Divine Intervention is a celestial magic spell available from Orlan Drey in Arindale. It works in all versions of the game, at least the ones I have played: 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5. The Angelic Destroyer heavy pole weapon also invokes divine intervention, much like the helm of storms invokes lightning which is another celestial spell. It is not necessary to have the weapon to use the spell. If your character is at least a level 9 in celestial magic, you should not have trouble casting the divine intervention spell. Sorry if I wasn't specific enough in my earlier reply.

Are you a level 9 in celestial magic?
I think summoning spells (Divine Intervention is a summon) work differently then just a regular spells. Yes, you can use an arcane spell at a lower level of arcane magic, but it doesn't work as effectively. For example, you can use a Blast Nova ( a level 6 spell) at level one, but the damage it does to enemies is negligible, as opposed to using it at level 6 arcane or higher-then it does much more damage. However to summon a creature, you need to have that level in the particular school of magic or higher.
If you are a level 9 celestial magic and the spell does not work, it might be a bug. *If* what you are experiencing is a bug particular to 1.1, I wouldn't know how to address that. Have you thought about patching your game? You can patch it to either 1.3 (fixes bugs) or 1.4 (fixes even more bugs). Heraldries finally work in 1.4....
I initially patched from 1.3 to 1.4, before receiving the Collector's edition. I noticed some good things, but you will have to sock a few points into the identify and repair skill to know what you have picked up and to repair your equipment. These skills are missing from version 1.3 and below. At any rate, you can read more and download patches from here.

Well, it is a spell that you can buy from the Temple of the Empyrean in Arindale. I have never had the weapon you are referring to, but the spell is available to members of the Celestial Guild, and can be bought from Orlan Drey. The spell won't show up to general players, just guild members, although it can be added in via the game editor.

heh, that would do it. If somebody is a member of the guild they can buy the spell and if they are a level 9 in celestial magic they should have no problems casting it. I have used it myself at level 9 celestial with no problems in 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 game versions.

The blessed spirit summon might help, that is a healer. Another spell available to celestial guild members. Although in the deathmatch thingy, I don't know, never played that way. She may end up healing both you and your opponent, so that might defeat the purpose...
