Bal Molagmer problems **SPOILERS**

Ok, I just did the theives guild quest with hundri, asked gentalmen jim stacy about Bal Molagmer, and he wont give me the gloves! He just says that there are rumors I murdered someone and he cant let me be a Bal Molagmer. Please help!
Also, I play it on xbox.

Well if that's what he says you can't do them. Talk to the guy near him to get your name cleared?

I did but it didnt have anything to say about what to do if you have problems with the Bal Molagmer.

did you kill any thieves guild members? that might be it even if you dont hav a bounty

I might have...last time I did a theives guild quest was like a month ago...so I dont remember.

I'm having the same problem. I've done Imp. Legion quests (up to finishing Ald-ruhn) and Mages guild quests (up to 2nd Skink quest). If anyone knows what caused this and/or an actual solution, it would be appreciated.

I think the person's name is along the lines of Valtro C-something, but I don't recall coming across one.

EDIT: It's Vala Catraso, although I'm not sure who the originator of the thread killed. Problem: I've tried placing her atpc, but Jim still thinks there's rumors. Anyone got a possible solution?
