Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul

Post by KingNothing »

i got some problem with the Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul
mod. It seems that im missing some armor graphic files. Since some guards and sometimes even my own character is missing his armor and torso. Does anyone know what that can be wrong? Right now im using version 1.31 of the mod and i installed it from a selfextrating file.
Furthermore i find it alot harder to lvl my skills than before i installed the mod. I can keep swimming for hours without getting any athletics skills. I know the mod should make the game a bit harder. But its frustrating still being level 1 when the monsters is alot harder. I hope someone have experience with this great mod.

Where did you download it from? And is it the latest version?

A reputable site.

I would try reinstalling in order the mod, then the patch. Do so manually, moving all the mod's file directories into their appropriate locations on your computer. Then try to run it, and see if the mesh files are still missing.

You might also try removing everything on your character, dropping it on some spot, moving to another nearby area that causes a load (it could be as simple as moving into or out of a building), saving, then reloading what you just saved. Pick up everything you've dropped. That's been known to help with some instances of corruption due to adding mods in an extent saved game.

Good. :) I also suggest installing Wrye Mash. It can usually resolve saved game issues with new mods, as well as has some other very useful features. Give it a look, at least. Some find it confusing, but I've found it addicting for maintaining the health of my Morrowind games.
