ok here are a few things that I am Curious about.
here are the skills I want to make a character with.
Iron will: since it lets you absorb the damage and lets you continue on with your attacks and spell casting so in a way acts as armor skin.
Crushing blow: knock back or stun enemies with heavy or blunt objects?
Ninjitsu: lets you use hands and feet as lethal weapons.
Critical Strike: lets you kill an enemy with a single melee strike.
Inflict Wounds: Causes you to make bleeding wounds on an enemy that keep on damaging them.
now here is what I want to know.
If I have Ninjitsu does my hands and feet count as blunt weapons so that crushing blow would be effective and would critical Strike and infict Wounds work together with crushing blow and ninjitsu and iron will?
Do hands and feet still count as blunt weapons if you are a zuar or wylvan or thrall who have claws and tails? Urgoths look like buffalos so might be considered to be blunt weapons if you got trampled by them in a stampede.

Most (not all, but most) of the diabolic skills are for third tier classes and a player can have only one third tier class for their character, so your question is mostly hypothetical. Try reading about the different classes here:

If you were for example an adept/monk/shaolei master then you would receive ninjutsu from monk and critical strike from shaolei master. Critical strike is with a melee weapon, so you would have to have a sword or other type of weapon equipped. It is difficult to say how the other skills would interact with each other as it would be impossible during normal game play to have a whole bunch of diabolic skills. This will tell you which classes get which diabolic skills:

I don't think it makes a difference whether your character has claws or hands...

What gave you the idea that you have to use a weapon to get critical hits? Critical strike certainly worked with open hand attacks when I had a monk, in fact I seemed to get more CHs with open hand than with weapons, but that could have been pure luck.kathycf wrote:Most (not all, but most) of the diabolic skills are for third tier classes and a player can have only one third tier class for their character, so your question is mostly hypothetical. Heh, maybe so. When I had a monk/shaolei master the character was more experienced with weapons than ninjutsu. I guess I might have to try that out again sometime, putting some more points into ninjutsu.
But still, I don't think alot of the diabolic skills work together as the original poster is asking because I don't see outside of editing how someone could have so many.
