Well, in past years initial nominations have been done publicly, so I figured I'd get the ball rolling here

Member Awards :
SYM Most Helpful Member Von Dondu - helps in every forum she posts in, and with lots of detail too

SYM Funniest Member Moonbiter - plenty of tongue-in-cheek one liners

SYM Most Loveable/Romantic Female Member - I'm not great at that question, I'll think on it

SYM Most Loveable/Romantic Male Member Do we have any?

SYM Best Couples Needs thought
Criteria :

Lurker of the Year: AC

Spammer of the Year Hmmm....

Most Perverted Member: Magrus - Who else of our current active posters can twist *any* conversation in the direction of the sewers?

We got it last year... Not a whole lot of people remember. But as you can see I'm so proud that I openly display it in my sig and brag about it every chance I get so that everyone knows.

I seriously didn't know about this thing. Is there a thread somewhere documenting previous winners? I couldn't find any. Oh, and what is the prize for/of winning? A free one-year supply of Spam? A pirated copy of Dungeons & Dragons - The Movie? A thread that goes to 2000? A title? A signed copy of "Sean The Owner's Travel Guide for Dummies?"

While I'm waiting for the inevitable debate between Fable, VonDondu and Dowaco on how this vote and voting system is flawed and why nobody should vote because it doesn't help anyway, :laugh: I might as well put my foot in the way of my tonsils again:

This is a walkover for me. I was away for six months, and was welcomed back by Chimaera182 saying, on the demise of former South African leader Botha:

Glad to know i helped. I remember that too. It was funnier to me when i found out who botha was. Now i don't remember though.

Also, all the nominaties which were referring to the "post limit" -accident and problems followed by that aren't counted, as I don't want to rise any angry feelings in this ceremony. So, those of you who have nominated things related to that event, please post new ones if you want.

Basically, the nominates relating to that event went to category of "Most stupid thing said in SYM"...

Sure you are allowed to nominate people and vote!
It will only bring some fresh sides to the votes and nominaties, as you aren't as got used to the "roles" people may have taken/got in the eyes of older members...

These are the numbers for different awards thus far. Please, make some nominates to those awards which has zero or one nominate, as there can't e any voting in those. And new nominatios can be made to other awards as well.
