little question

What happens to my saves if i install kotor from "best of pc"? My kotor cd is in bad shape, and my computer wants to reinstall it, and those installing cds dont work at all.

I'd suggest moving your saved games to another locatoin, uninstalling the current game, then installing the new copy and putting the saved games back where they were. If that doesn't work, you can always reinstall the old copy.

Are you referring to Star Wars: Best of PC? :confused: I've heard of this a while back when I was browsing a game site. To be on topic, I'm sure that the save games will work on the Best of PC version of KOTOR but to be safe, create a backup of your save games as what Fable had mentioned previously. :)

Now i installed it , and guess what! my saves didnt work at all. then best of pc kotor:s files just disappeared, and all what was left was empty temp(how the hell did it get there?). So, i deleted them both, And tried to reinstall the original kotor.heh, its cd3 didnt work.i borrowed it to my friend last year, and he broke it. And he never even played the game, just installed it! So, i guess it means no kotor for me for a while. How can i live :( ?
