Mass Effect is a totally different game and has no relation to the KOTOR series. Anyway, if this game were to be confirmed for release on the PC, I wouldn't be surprised, considering their past records of porting console titles over to the PC.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
In know that it has no direct relation to the kotor series but in my opinion and a few of my friends that are kotor fans, it looks like away for bioware to have a kotor like game without bring any star wars stuff into it.DesR85 wrote:Mass Effect is a totally different game and has no relation to the KOTOR series. Well, given that Bioware have very close relations with Microsoft, I'm not surprised that they are developing Mass Effect for the XBox 360. It's almost similar trend for their previous console titles like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Jade Empire. Eventually, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was subsequently released on the PC much later and Jade Empire is confirmed for release on the PC next January. I will not be surprised if Bioware will do something similar to Mass Effect.DarthZ wrote:There's no way this can be the next KotOR, its impossible.
This game looks rather interesting though and I'm pretty sure that it'll be ported to PC after maybe a year (which sucks! It should be released nooow on PC).

It seems to me some of you understood that this person meant that this will be the Kotor 3
I think it is obvious from his first post that he ment "the next big thing like Kotor" and not "Kotor 3"
Just my 2 cents
But, I agree that it won't be as big as Kotor, because Kotor is a Star Wars game, and SW gamers have specific reasons why they play SW, because its a well established world which is simply irreplaceable.
Its like anything sci-fi that comes out kind of reminds of those 90's sci-fi films, most of which didn't survive the test of time, because they didn't have "it", and a lot of them were really cheesy
