Hi when my fighter raises to 10th level I only get 3 additional HP, I can't understand why since he should gain a d10 +5 hp per. level ...
When i load the game before he gained a level and kill enough to raise to lvl10, he still only gets 3 hp, can it be a bug or are there any other explanation?
fighter HP problems??
Not a bug, that's how it works in AD&D 1st and 2nd edition, fighters get 1D10 Hp per level (dumbed down to auto max HP in BG2) plus the constitution bonus (+1 for 15 con, +2 for 16 etc) up until level 9 (inclusive), from then on it's 3 HP per level.elle wrote:Hi when my fighter raises to 10th level I only get 3 additional HP, I can't understand why since he should gain a d10 +5 hp per. level ...

Nope, Fighters get 3HP per level after 9th, the other classes vary (e.g. MUs get 1D4+Con bonus [max 2] up to 11th), no one gets con bonus after the hit die ceiling.Emnelion wrote:Hmm, isn't the character gaining 1 hp per level + con bonuses? I'm pretty sure that other, non-fighter classes gets just 1 hp per lvl, though they cannot get more then +2 hp from their con.
