Looking for somebody skilled at turning humans into elves

Post by dragon wench »

I have spent the last couple of weeks perusing BG2 portrait sites since I have picked up the game again. I found that many of those I remember are no longer in existence *sigh*
So... I decided to investigate other options and turned to fantasy art. I found one image that would be perfect for what I want, the only problem is that it shows a human rather than an elf.

Er... is anybody out there good at transforming images of humans so that they look elven? I'd be very grateful if somebody would be able to do me that favour.

Thanks :)

If it doesn't have a beard, I might be able to fashion on a couple of pointy ears for ya.

We can do it! We have the technology! :p

Wasn't there a photo editing thread at SYM? You might want to ask there, more people will notice.

I'm a professional (using the word in its loosest possible sense) photo enhancer/restorer, so I'd be happy to take a look. it may well be a learning experience. bear in mind that the bigger the source image, the easier it is to work with.

Okay, thanks guys,
I am going to provide a link where the image is located. Now the thing is... the significant features, like ears, are not really visible but the figure represented is undeniably human.

Also, warning, this is a site full of Luis Royo's artwork, and a lot of it contains mature material. The image I'm looking at, though, is fine.

Or, if it were possible to do something with my GB avatar, that would be great too, I'll try to find it, it is around on various BG2 portrait sites.

Note: Tricky reminded me of something I had planned to mention, but forgot, it would be best, out of respect for the artist, if you PM'ed me any Photobucket links etc. rather than posting them here. Or, equally, if you PM me, I can also give you my email. Thanks very much :)
