Return of Jack?
does anyone have any news about the mask, perhaps taking on a new host and
reempowering Jack of Blades? I think that would be sweet.

Hello. Welcome to the forums, JackofBlades.
As far as I know, Lionhead made no mention of about a Jack of Blades mask making an appearance in the game. Also, it's too early in development so you won't expect to hear much from them either.

Yes, there is an official Fable 2 site but it's just a teaser website (link). The only thing shown in that site is the Fable 2 trailer shown back in E3 2006.marten0305 wrote: Does Fable 2 have an official web site or do they just use Lionhead's web site?

i got a great idea, since you could take the mask yourself in fable:the lost chapters, why not make your hero from fable 1 one of the bosses in fable 2? that would be
"Some say they decended from hercules himself. Taught never to surrender. Never to retreat taught that death on the battlefield is the greatest glory to achive in this life. Spartans, the finest warriors the world has ever seen."
"No mercy for the weak, No pity for the dying, No tears for the slain"

How is Lionhead going to explain this if one of the bosses in Fable 2 is the main character of the previous game? It's been 500 years after the events of Fable: The Lost Chapters and he would have been long gone by then (unless he was turned into a zombie or something).Spartan93 wrote:i got a great idea, since you could take the mask yourself in fable:the lost chapters, why not make your hero from fable 1 one of the bosses in fable 2? that would be

Wasn't Jack from the Old Kingdom?? If the hero and Jack merged maybe that same power kept the hero alive??DesR85 wrote:How is Lionhead going to explain this if one of the bosses in Fable 2 is the main character of the previous game? I don't remember Jack's mask being able to grant immortality to an individual. All it does is grant the user power. I would've understand if the mask is still around 500 years later but not whoever is wearing the mask 500 years ago and still around at Fable 2's time period.Batos wrote:Wasn't Jack from the Old Kingdom?? i would like to see jack again but id like to see him on the good side something like the hero who put the mask trades jacks power for the immortality of the mask and now jacks some old geezer who hangs around the arena while the hero is the mask so like they traded spots
you know when you find out the imaginary voices in your head aren't imaginary...... you finally wake up and listen and it just proves .... it pays to be parranoid

in fable the lost chapters you kill jack in dragon form...but the gates to were he was were open so they could be opened again and jack could come back in fable 2...just an idea or is it?
be warned...the shadows will pull you into the darkness.

My thoughts exactly. One problem is that you either have Jack's mask or destroyed it. And it is rumoured that the mask is the true source of power for the many Jacks that have worn it over the centuries. .......it is a confusing quastion but i think it should depend on wat the player choose to do in the first game...like if you played the first one on the 360 it could go on wat u choose to do.....or u could choose at the start wat to do....i dont know but it is defenityly worth thinking about and discussing.Loki[D.d.G] wrote:My thoughts exactly. But that would be too confusing and tough for the devs to pull of convincingly. Most games which have seperate endings such as this usually have a sequel which presumes the player made the good choice.bosmer000 wrote:.......it is a confusing quastion but i think it should depend on wat the player choose to do in the first game...like if you played the first one on the 360 it could go on wat u choose to do.....or u could choose at the start wat to do....i dont know but it is defenityly worth thinking about and discussing.
