Sister and Glow Questions (spoilers)

Post by Starion »

Okay- two more:

1. Will I ever find out exactly what the heck my lil sis did to me at Twinblade's camp?

2. What the heck's the blue glow that I now see emanating from my palms?
(I am now the Mayor of Bstone. Does it have anything to do with the stones in the center of Bstone Manor?)

The first question I don't know...

The blue glow means that you use your will powers a lot (Are they like Mazes?) And your becoming a wizard guy w/e

I'm not really sure myself, even though I've finished the game a while back. Perhaps she cast some sort of spell to heal everything (restore both health and magic), I think.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

Anakin7865 had it right! The glow is from using will more than melee. I am sure of this 'cause I purposely used melee until I changed from "Legendary Will User" to "Legendary Spellwarrior" and then the glow was gone! I guess it's like a build-up/residual leakage through the pores since the hands are the delivery system for the spells! Makes sense!

I hope you are right about the experience though! If Des is right then it was a total waste since I never let my health & mana drop below 60%! Your idea makes more sense since she said she "unlocked an untapped power", and xp lets you get a new spell or upgrade! ;)

Your sister gave you a hell of alot of exp..... That's all... Your mom does it for you later in the game as well, once you rescue her, and kill the kraken, and move out to the cliffside path. They "tap into the power of your bloodline"
The Legendary Spell Warrior called arseface

 WOOT!

Anyways, thanx, do you know how much xp each gives?
In other words-how much is "a ____ of a lot"?

At Twinblade's camp your BIG sister gives you 10,000 exp points.
At Lychfield Graveyard your mother gives you 40,000 exp points.

The blue glow appears if you have your Will maxed out and a good few spells at a high level. It actually appears all over your body like some sort of weird blue veins. You will get this no matter what your alginment is, although it is more prominent if your are not evil.

Then my graphics must be wonky 'cause the glow disappears from time to time! And I don't see any "blue veins" but I do see a weird rough white chalkiness to my skin, what's that all about?
And why the heck is my wonderful Gryphon tattoo all faded out? It was nice and bright and deeply colored when I got it! :(

Those veins you mentioned, are they like what Maze had on his face?

But what stinks is that if you use magic a lot you get older way much faster if your just using melee (keep that in mind). Being old Reeks! And I finally have red smoke coming out of my person :D

Maybe the glow does disappear from time to time on the pc, but I have not heard of that happening before...I play on the xbox. :p
The white chalky marks as you call them is related to your glowing hands...and is what I was trying to describe! Yes, they are similiar to what Maze has but will never be as bright.
And your tattoos fade as you get older, your age increases every time you upgrade any stat by around 0.7 years.

I know what the your sister gives you

Well it took me ages to work out i completed it 4 times after i worked it out.
You know the 10000 xp you get I belive it is that beacuse she says its some great power but its just a boost lol.
Then if you do kill twinblade you only get a bit of xp.

I mean it's not like I had ANY trouble sending him to hell when we went mano-a-mano in a mage duel!

And the tatt fading also sux! I mean ok- ink DOES fade! But then when I went and had them redone- no go- still faded!
What bull-puckey! A lot of really old bikers get new tatts and they look exactly that - N E W!!! :(
