A little help and an opinion

I really hope I don't get in trouble for this but does anyone know where I might be able to buy throne of bhaal. I can't seem to find it. Plus is it worth getting?

You can try Amazon.com or google Throne of Bhaal or I think Gamebanshee (here) or as a last resort you can try e-bay. I think it's very worthwhile for several reasons.

Hope this helps

You could try wholesale stores like SAM's Club or Costco... maybe Best Buy.

I've seen it at best buy for around 30$ but that was the whole set with SoA
definitly worth getting; ToB and watchers keep make your team uber godly due to the higher exp cap, powerfull items ect. the story is good and I teally like the music in it. there are also a few challangeing fights which is always good

Do you mean the expansion only? That may be a little trickier to get than the game itself, which i've often seen in packaged boxes with the entire Baldur's Gate series (including the TOB expansion).
If you are looking for TOB on its own I don't think that you'll have very much sucess at all outside of searching on the internet, but most decent game stores should have a collectors edititon for a very reasonable price.

And yes, SOA/TOB is in my opinion one of the best games ever created, well worth purchasing.

I can't think of any other expansion that adds as much game as ToB. If for nothing else, get it to see how the Bhaalspawn Saga ends.
Why is it that whenever I finally get around to playing a new game for the first time,
I feel like playing Baldur's Gate for the second time...

just a thought............

Your not likely to find the expansion alone on the net (ive tried ;) )Not even an enthusiastic group of elves behind the counter at my local 2nd hand game store could track it down for me. However, why not sell your current game on Ebay or similar and pick up a copy with the expansion. As mentioned the going rate is about $30, but I have seen them cheaper. Why not give your SofA game to a friend and get them hooked :D . I believe the vote is unanimous, you will never regret a $ you spend on Tof B. Some of the enemies you face will make Mr Irenicus look like a ****ycat, youll meet up with some "old friends" and the addition of the Watchers Keep dungeon alone is a challenge within itself. Happy Hunting.

It is worth getting if you plan on playing fan made mods with it. The majority of the mods require ToB.

I think it's worth getting. True, it lacks roleplaying depth, but that can be said of nearly every add-on. It increases the cap, and provides a lot of tactical challenges. The mods improve it in many ways.

I guess I'll have to buy the pack with all three games :( . The games I have are my brothers so if he wants to sell them for money to by TOB I guess I can

But is everyone sure they have not seen TOB by itself

What exactly do you mean with 'by itself'? (edit: never mind, I read that totally wrong. Fable's reply made it clear)

ToB is a great expansion, one of the best buys you could imagine, and considering the length and depth of it, well worth your money. It might feel linear (compared to SoA it's perhaps a little bit too linear), but it delves deeper into a world you began to love and cherish with BGI or Shadows of Amn.

More monsters, great new areas and awesome spells. Read the back of the game, it's all there. :)

Not since it first came out, no.

all 4 are cheaper than ToB was - the boxed DVD set of BG1, ToSC, BG2 and ToB - all together.

had the prob that it didn't let me install the expansion ToSC, but so what - I was happy enough with BG2 and ToB.

Besides, it's not a bad idea to have a second retail copy, just in case one of them starts developing faults. Even good CDs ,au develop spots, usually around a decade after manufacturing.

A couple of months ago someone sat on and broke my ToB disc.....ok it was me....anyway I went online at Amazon.com and bought just the ToB disc from one of the vendors listed there. I think it cost less than $20 US with shipping. The disc came boxed with the manual included.

Hope this helps

I was able to get mine ( the SOA/TOB bundle, new, still boxed) :D through a friends store online, sometimes you just got to have faith and give it a try...Then later saw it for sale at a retail outlet ...
Good luck either way... its a must buy for RPG fans. :)
