access to henchmen quests?
.
maybe stupid question - but how do I get access to the henchmen quests (chapter 1,2 & 3)?
Meanwhile being on L5 and already found the item sharwin should look for in her chapter 1 quest (with sharwin not in the party when finding it!) she told me the 2nd or 3rd part of her story but I still don't get access to her quest!

Please do not use "leet/aol" writing, as many visitors to the site have english as secondary or even tertiary language, making it hard to understand writing as you type it (without using e's, and substituting letters for words). Plus it makes you appear immature. We're not asking you to spell perfectly, but intentionally misspelling not nice.diamondrust wrote:All the henchmens quest are based with in the main quests there are not side quests. Anyways, to the original poster:
When you level up, new dialog options open up with the henchmen, and they each have 3 dialogs (I believe), so if you have talked to a henchmen fully, then you'll have to level up before you can continue the dialogs.
Luckily, they do not need to be in your party for the options to open up, so you can stick with one henchmen throughout the chapter, and then dump him/her for a while and pick up the other henchmen quests

For Chapter one, You need to be level 6 or greater to get them to admit what they are looking for.
You can find ALL the items, wether or not you are doing the quests.
For Chapters 2 & 3, however, there are higher level requirements (I THINK 9 or 10 for Chapter 2, and about 12-14 for chapter three), as well as having done the quest(s) of the previous Chapter(s).
Meaning: If you start over at chapter 3, without having done Chapters 1 & 2, you don't get those quests.

Here's the PC minimum level for Henchman quests.
Chapter 1: Level 6.
Chapter 2: Level 9.
Chapter 3: Level 12 (note: Haven't gotten this far, so this a guess).
Chapter 4: N/A. There are no Henchman quests in Chpt. 4.
Note: To access the quest for each henchman, you must go through a total of (if I'm not mistaken) 3 conversations with them that tell a tell as you level up. If you are insufficient level to continue the conversation, the Henchman will break the conversation off until you gain another level. After that, you'll gain the chance to accept the quest for the henchman.

I've never had this.... Are you certain you are patched correctly? (reffering to the fact that all the Henchmen won't join you)......
Even Tomi, the rogue in the Halls of Justice, does this? They should join you if you pay 150 gp (Less on sucessful check) in Chapter 1. In the other chapters, they are paid for by Lord Nasher. And you only get one of them (Whomever is your henchman at the end of three)) in the fourth....

Have you lost the items they gave you when you first hired them? Each of them gives you an item as "show of contract", and if you loose that you can't rehire them.RohamQkac wrote:My character is now a level 7 cleric. I can hire only Grimgnaw and Sharwyn, the others sendig me away saying they work with someone else. Why is this?
If you have - you could try the divining pool in the Temple of Tyr (where you get to with your Stone of Recall) and see if the items are present in there.
