Hello, DW. :) Thanks. At least I don't need to worry about being shot at by Krauts. Well, since it's safe, I might as well put away my guns. No point carrying them around when there's no threat. :D

And [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Lutefisk.jpg"]here[/url] is a closeup... :speech:

I suppose one reason why I shudder is because I am deathly allergic to cod... gives me a serious anaphylactic reaction.

btw, sorry for the multiple posting in here, it's hard for me to know if people are posting in between or not since posts move so fast in pub threads.

No.. it's a rather horrible Norwegian concoction made of cod and lye. Even if I were not allergic to cod, in my view it sounds positively frightening :D

A glass of wine should do. ;) Say, you interested in some wine bottles dating back to 1943? Able Company just 'liberated' one of the nearby wine cellars in France after the Krauts withdrew. :D

lmao! Yes, of course we can do Dead Bastards, in fact, I think it would make a fine signature beverage for this establishment :D

You know.. unless we're talking Madeira, I don't think I want to drink any wines from 1943... :speech: But, thanks for the offer ;)

MSN has apparently decided to have nothing to do with me. My messenger won;t work, hotmail won't open, and I am nearly convinced I hear laughter when I try. I've had to resort to using that irritating Gmail chat type thingie  :p

Looking for me were you? ;)

So you are acting in a threesome with Fas and my child? I find it interesting, but I can't outright say that I approve of it.

Erk. Two glasses of wine. Oh well, I'll drink the red one. As for the brand, I can't tell, since there was no label on that bottle. Heard one of the Airborne guys got hold of a bottle as well during the Carentan mission but nothing bad happened. The captain wasn't too happy, however:

Sergeant: Hmm. 1943. What a good year. Want one? [dangles bottle in front of another soldier] Heh heh, nice try. Wait your turn. [drinks the bottle of wine]
Captain: I'll have to assume that is grape juice.
Sergeant: Yep, it's grape juice. Well, it was grape juice, about a year ago. [laughter in background]
