SPOILER "stuck in Aran Linvail's 2nd quest.

Hi All

New to the board, and I did do a search on my problem, but didnt find any previous posts on it. If there are I am sorry about this one.

Any ways my problem is that I went to Five Flagons Tavern to meet up with the two traitors. In the battle they were killed but the contact escaped. Now when I go back to Aran the only option I have is that "I have nothing to report" when I talk to him. But I need him to send someone to open up the portal to Bodhi's area. At the time I didnt think anything about the contact escaping and have done other things in the game that I am hoping I dont have to go back before the encounter and redo.

One of the three individuals you were sent to intercept was carrying a letter that contained hints about the location of the vampire lair. That was really the whole point of the mission--to gather information so that Aran would know where to send you next. If you can find that letter on one of the corpses or create it with a cheat code then you might be in luck. If you have to kill Gracen, you could also use a cheat code to create a copy of him and then kill the copy.

Thanks for the reply. I have a letter that says the lair may be in the graveyard and my journal entry also says that and it hopes that is enough for Aran. I thought that maybe because it had said the contact had escaped I missed something else from them. I have tried to "give" the note to Aran but unsuccessfully.
