Ok I will try another stab at this.
My healers in the game, be it the cleric or the druid NEVER EVER EVER EVER cast the heal spell on anyone. Everyone drops like flies around them and they just cast DD type spells. So every time i neeed healing I need to switch characters? I remember in I think it was Baldurs gate or one of those you could set the ai to cast heals when character reached 50 percent or whatever. Unless Ive encountered another bug, healers just wont cast heals. Seems strange to me. Ive had them set up on all 3 of the casting modes. The only time they ever heal is themselves when they get low. Or if i broadcast heal me ...then they run up and cast a heal. No other times
EVER.
Any input here?
I had one other thread and I saw 72 people read it . This was mentioned in it as well as some advice sought on a warlock build. However it was a long post so ill keep this one short in the hopes that peep will read and respond.
Here is a link to the other Thread in case any are interested:

Thx in advance for any replies.

Smarter Ai would be nice, and healers actually healing you would be nicer, but I have not come across a fix for this. I suppose you could just have them memorize ALL healing spells, but it sounds like they will just heal themselves anyway...
I play my games with the AI off, so I haven't even noticed this flaw, but it would be nice to have them heal you without even having to think about it.
There are many posts on the bad AI on the bioware forums and it appears as though OE isn't addressing this atm. I did read where a community member is working on a fix for the AI, but I could not find it on nwvault.

Healing is just a sub-category of the generally poor spellcasting AI. I find that I have to switch between characters constantly in every battle to get them to do what I want. The only characters that do what I expect are the melee fighters, like Shandra and Khelgar (and even they tend to run off screen if I don't watch them). The spellcasters are always casting pointless buffing spells instead of attack spells, and if I leave my Warlock PC alone too long, he will start attacking with his melee weapons instead of his Eldritch Blast. Just get used to pausing and switching. It's the only way to ensure acceptable results.
