Video Card Question for Fable:TLC

I have been having a problem when I got Fable.I will list the type of stuff my computer has.

HP Pavilion microsoft windows XP Home Edition
AMD Sempron(tm) processor 3000+
1.81GHZ
512 MB Ram
Hard drive space: 39GB

Video Card:NVIDIA GEFORCE4 MX 4000
128MB video card

Does this Graphics card support Fable. I can't find if it does or does not.

It's an old card, might need to upgrade.

:eek: A NVIDIA GEFORCE4 MX 4000 eh??? Well i believe it does support Fable. But Siberys is correct. Would might want to upgrade it. And also, What type of problems are you having with Fable? Im sure some one on these fourms have had the same problems as you.

Hello and welcome to the forums, Dethklok. :)

I don't know where I came by this information but I do recall that the system requirements mentioned that Geforce 4 MX is not supported (I think). I remember that a friend of mine tried to play Fable with his Geforce 4 MX and he couldn't even run the game at all.

Also have to agree with Siberys here. These days, the Geforce 4 series and below are not supported by most games.

Are you sure? I remember that the 4 mx cards were able to work with Fable. But you had to update it? Are you sure?

I'm sure of it. That friend of mine told me himself. He mentioned that his card lacked Shader Model 1.5 or something, if I recall correctly (and yes, he did regularly update his graphics card).
