One of them was seeing a hunter, not far from cheydinhal (are there hunters other places?), I ran to him and tried to chat with him, but he was to busy hunting deers and warthogs to speak with me :p

Another where when I walking through a cave, but no enemy to see, I got a bit nervous, running around in the dark with only 2 torches left. I thought there would be a big kind a monster somewhere in the cave just waiting to jump out at me behind a door or corner. Later I figuered out why it was empty, it was for a quest :p

I had a similar experience by the wineyards near skingrad. This Redguard guy who usually teach me in marksmanship (or was it security?) crouched past me and loudly said hello, thereafter he tried to pickpocket an Altmer guy near a fence, the altmer noticed and shouted: "Hey you pesky little thief!" Then both the altmer and the gate guard, started to chase him all over the place, finally disappering into the woods, havent heard from them since, guess they meet some trolls...I hope :D
That happened to me to, but i followed them ,Redguard dies fast, very boring. ;)

Put on the gray cowl of nocturnal, switching to sneak made, relesing the arrow and watching the guard drop. :) I also loved it when i first got out of the imperial sewers and saw the graphics.
So i hear that the dark brotherhood assinated an elf.
I hear you smell.

So far i have to agree with you, Maglir's death was amazingly satisfying - if only i could of used a soul trap spell on him!!!

That would be fun

i'd put his soul into a rusty iron dagger - he he :p

woooowww (SPOILER)

ok i have a new best moment, when Sean Bean ...... i mean Martin Septim is talking to the soldiers you have gathered from other settlements and the malitia..... and you of course. And then he starts a realy cool speach then every one draws their swords and goes For Bruma, For Bravil, For Lleyawin.

And then the first clanfear comes out and everyone charges into battle.

The great oblivion gate is so cool!

Such a cool moment, i made a save so i could do the battle again.

This may have already been described, but the best moment i have had was while hunting goblins in derelict mines.

I had just passed a trap, one which a huge log is rigged to swing down on chains, activated by a trip rope. I saw the trap and jumped over the rope which lead into a wide cavern.

I ended up getting two goblins attention, and using only a bow, got into a bit of a health crunch. While retreating, I jumped back over the the trip wire with two goblins hot on my trail.

While running and nocking an arrow, I spun around and fired wildly, meaning to hit one of the goblins, but actually hitting the rope which sprung the trap just as the goblins were approaching the trap. Completely lucky.

As the log swung down both goblins were bowled over, instantly killing the one I had put a few arrows into, and stunning the healthy one, which only required a couple more arrows to finish off, as it struggled to right itself.

I got a couple.

In the quest Unfortunate Shopkeeper, the sneak trainer came in and stayed there all day. So when the robbers came she attacked them and ran all the way out of town. So the robbers were loose in town, it took me like 15 minutes just to catch the other two. Anyways the guards accidently shot each other and had a war going on. They were litteraly fighting each other.

Another one is don't pickpoket Jauffre during the speech Martin has. I did and he wouldn't let me join the blades :( .

I hate that feeling. When I was doing the quest for Bruma's countess, where you get a stone for her, I was walking through a cave full of Ogres!! At that time I hadn't seen one before and didn't know that they were in there. I walked in the shadows and then saw a huge shadow looking the other way. So my friend says, "What is that?", then I said,"I don't know". I fired my bow with fire damage on it and litterally blew it 10 feet in the air! "OHHHHH, it was an ogre", I say after I find the body. :D

Hmmm . . . .

I love Oblivion gates, especially the first one at Kvatch! I love the surrealistic landscape, the traps, the monsters, and the general sense of brooding evil. The tilted, cyclopean masonry reminds me of an H P Lovecraft story on steroids. You really feel like you've done the world a favor when you shut down one of those monstrosities!

. . . . and the loot's good, too!

Indianasmith is right about the plane of Oblivion. Totally freaky.
Another good gaming moment was when I was completely immersed in the game, home alone, in the dark, late at night, the monitor inches from my nose, as I slowly creeped through a freaky Aelyid (sp?) ruin. I had the volume all the way up listening for voices or footsteps or creepy dread zombie breathing when suddenly there was a loud *!!WHIISSSHP!!* I lurched from my seat, yelped a little, sent my mouse flying, and tried to recover myself in the sudden darkness before it dawned on me: my torch went out. I never new I'd lighted one and had it burning before I even entered the ruin! That was a damn good gaming moment!

Your gonna love this.

i was playing my battle mage and had just made 5 pieces of Chameleon 20% so now im invisible, so i killed a guard captain for his armor and couldnt get it. so i shot and area speel at him and made him fly around for like 20 mins. then i accidently hit 2 other guards, the adamada phillidus came(and he cant be killed) so i knocked him out and shot him on the roof, he died when he walked off. then i came uninvisble so the guards were after me, one swung and i moved and he hit another, then i went back invisible, then all the guards and several villagers were all of a sudden fighting eachother, 5 guards and like 7(some store owners =( ) villigers died . . . it was hillarious, like a revolt.

I would have to say my favorite moment is when in the db quest that everyone is talking about, killing the rich guy and getting him to fly over the banister and going downstairs to see the body folded over the chair and the dark elf girl sitting next to the body reading a book as if nothing happened. lol
or
Talking to the rich, snobby guy in skingrad, killing him with an arrow and watching as the game glitches and the arrow gets stuck in the wall while its still stuck in the guys head. So he's basically stuck dangling over his fireplace, then the guard comes and looks and the body and proceeds to attempt to arrest me, and I retaliate by turning on god mode and using my fingers of the mountain spell to kill everyone in town (except the count, he rocks).

When my friend got the game he was showing some of the stuff you could do in towns. Paintbrushes etc. When he had this enrage spell I asked what it did and he said it just makes people upset. I say use it. So he uses it on the guy who has the imp follow him around and everything falls apart in the dining room. Mages start summoning creatures and stuff starts flying, but wait what is that? Some girl was sitting at the dinner table eating while all this was going on.

Or

When I stole from the pirates(a single nirnroot) on the docks they came to attack me, I dodged their attack which hits a citizen, who punches back alerting the guard, who calls in a legion, which gets everybody on the waterfront involved in this war. By this time the pirates are dead so I'm just standing watching and laughing. When its over three guards and the entire population of the waterfront is dead. Lets just say its a good thing the TG quests were done otherwise I wouldn't have been able to do anything.
I only post with personal exp. So I will not answer anything about the dark brotherhood, and easter eggs.

I do not know if someone mentioned it already but my best gaming moment was when I take over towns by killing everyone in the Town:laugh:
Such a satisfactory feeling!
Took over almost every town except for the Imperial City.
I have a bounty of over 100,000 gold.
I am that person who kills you every time in multiplayer and for some reason you just can't kill me.
