Stuck when issued to moove *SPOILERS*

Post by voodoodog »

I'm in the Underdark completing sidequests for the drow and i noticed that the party members seem to get stuck when mooving. When i select all and make them moove over a fair distance some of them get stuck along the way: they moove for a bit, then the stop a bit, then they moove again, then they stop again for a bit and sometimes they stop completely, and this is not due to fatigue. This can be quite irritating. I have no mods, just the ToB expansion and its latest patch, 26498. Any ideas ?

There are a few reasons why this happens though a lot of them are related to mods not firing dialog properly.

Two unrelated to that are 1. Being in the Underdark looking like a drow and wearing the Ring of Regeneration and 2. Having an exceptionally large game Cache folder.

Pretty easy to test if either is causing problems.

Note: it seems to be pretty random who experiences the non-modrelated ones. Some people have no bugs..others get them all!

You could try re-configuring (select Configure on the opening menu, then miscellaneous) you should then have the option of increasing the cache size and Path search nodes. With the default settings I often have problems with NPC's getting lost or stuck.

Thanx guys :D It seems that it was actualy due to the fact that they looked like drow (and probably because of some equipment they were wearing) because once they turned back to their selfes they mooved normally. I also took your advice, galraen, and increased the cache size, although the search nodes were already at maximum.

Also, i want to ask about some other things without starting a new thread:
1. With Aerie in my party i summon 3 Fiends/day and kill them and get 37500exp/day to party. I already leveled her and Keldorn up, so is this an exploit?
2. I was thinking of starting a new with a K/T, and i just want to know what exactly do attributes influence in the game, in particular, does a kensai, or a fighter, really need any more than the minimum intelligence and wisdom to survive? and no, im not soloing.
