Long Blades for sneaky clases?

Post by Rurokenrox91 »

Okay, just wanna point out that I'm a newb. I want to make a sneakier class, but I prefer long blades over short. Will it make that big a difference if I make long blade my major skill instead of short blade?

I don't see how it would.

It shouldn't make any difference at all, except that your long blade skill would increase at a faster rate than short blade (but this is not a problem as you want to use long blades anyway).

The only reason to select short blades over long playing a stealth-based class is for roleplaying reasons.. It's much easier to imaging sneaking up on somebody with a small dagger, or shortblade, than it is a longsword.
Obviously, that is your choice though ;)

Yeah, I didn't think about the roleplay issue...I think I could live with having the shortblade as my major skill. Thanks for the answers :D .
